Curved barbells are versatile; they offer many possibilities. The only important thing is to choose the correct size for your piercing so that it fits. For example, you can use this barbell as a vertical labret in your lip, if you get it with a length of 3/8" and a gauge of 16 (10 mm and 1.2 mm). The size of the balls is a matter of taste; you can choose between 1/8" or 5/32" (3 mm or 4 mm). 

The bar features an internal thread, which means that the thread will not come into contact with your skin at all. Once you slide the bar through your piercing, screw the balls into it to snap it shut. The design ensures that the skin around the piercing will not be damaged when putting on or taking off the barbell. If you change your jewelry a lot, we recommend that you always use internally threaded barbells.
