A labret is a quite versatile piece of jewelry. It can be used in several different piercings, but it's probably mostly used in the lip and the ear. It's ingenious for lip piercings because of its flat back, which sits inside the mouth between the lip and gums. It's also perfect for ear piercings because there isn't always much space inside the ear. Here, the small plate doesn't take much space.
