Description
Beautiful and simple captive bead ring in its classic design, but this is made of 14-karat gold instead of material typically used to make CBRs. Captive bead rings are a popular choice because they offer a simple design without screws or threads, where dirt and bacteria often build up. The ball is held in by the tension between the two strong tips of the ring’s bar. The ball is held in place due to two tiny holes on each side of the ball, where the ring slides in, and once in place, it allows perfect fitment.
CBR can be worn in a variety of piercing holes, including eyebrow piercings, nipple piercings, and lip piercings. They can also be used in the tragus or helix - they offer many applications.
The captive bead rings we introduce here have either a gauge of 18g (1 mm) or 16g (1.2 mm), both with a 1/8" (3 mm) ball. Rings with a gauge size of 14g (1.6 mm) in a bigger diameter are available with a ball with 5/32" (4 mm) in diameter.
