The barbell of this nipple shield is 5/8" (16 mm), but for the reason that each side of the dangle in contact with the bar measures 1/16" (1 mm), there's a free space of 9/16" (14 mm) to thread through the nipple. That's why we recommend this jewelry to women with small nipples since there's only a distance of 5/32" (4 mm) from the barbell until the inner part of the shield.

It has a total of 4 stones; two on each side, and one in the middle; and the last stone, drop-shaped, hangs from the one in the middle.
