But the insertion of a dermal piercing often has a decisive significance concerning the jewelry size. Some dermal anchors are usually underneath clothing, so dermal tops shouldn’t be too big to avoid getting tangled or tearing clothes apart. In this case, it may be an advantage to choose a discrete size, such as a 1/8" (3 mm) model. Other times you may want your piercing to stand out as much as possible. For those cases, you should go for 5/32" or 3/16" (4 or 5 mm) instead. Note, however, that this dermal top settles slightly higher than other dermal tops.
This dermal top is made of high polished surgical steel. It's available in nine colors, ranging from classic clear, feminine pastels, and bright tones all the way to carbon black.
