This piece of jewelry is a ring equipped with a hinge, which has many advantages. One of the advantages is that you don't have to bother with balls or any other locking mechanisms that can get lost, for example, if you drop them down the drain. Another advantage is that it's really easy to open and close.

This ring is 5/16" (8 mm) in diameter and has a gauge or thickness of 16g (1.2 mm). Therefore, it fits most ear piercings, as well as the septum. If you have other piercings with matching measurements, you should definitely not hold back from using the ring there as well. The ring is made of titanium, so it can be used in brand new piercings, too.

At the bottom of the ring you will find three opal stones, which are not real opals, but imitations of them. You can choose between white or blue opals. The dimensions of the ring will be the same regardless of the color you select. Around the opals, you will find tiny attached beads, which make the whole piece of jewelry look very symmetrical. The opals measure approximately 0.08" (2 mm) and 0.12" (3 mm). The tiny beads measure approximately 0.06" (1.5 mm) in diameter.
