This piece is designed for septum piercings and holds a click mechanism that easily snaps open and shut.

This septum clicker is made of pure surgical steel, and has no brass at all, unlike most septum rings. The bar that goes through the piercing has a length of 1/4" (6 mm). The bar is held in the ring by a hinge on one edge and a clasp on the other. The chain is fix and rigid so it won't dangle like a regular chain.

This septum clicker is available in three different colors. The silver color model is surgical steel, the gold one is gold-plated, and the black one has a black color layer. The coating is on one out of two links of the chain, so only 4 out of 7 links are black in the black model, the rest are plain surgical steel. The same goes for the gold-plated links.
