I've had like 3 of these rings, mainly because I lose them/the wire lock part after a while. But I love the look of this ring, and when the wire 'lock' (which is just a very small spring) is removed the ends of the ring itself are smooth and round, making it the perfect first jewellery to put into a stretched septum. I was wearing this as my only 3mm septum jewellery for a while, since it was very easy to put in. Highly recommend for dead stretching or even if you're using a taper for the smaller septum sizes. Plus, the wire lock part gives the illusion of the ring being sliiightly thicker than it already is, which I love. Just wish it was available in larger gauge sizes.
