Circular barbells can be used in a wide variety of piercings. There's hardly any piercing in which you cannot use this barbell. The tongue may not be a suitable option, but apart from that, circular barbells look especially stunning in the tragus and helix piercings; without forgetting the septum piercing, of course.
Like other barbells, this circular barbell has a ball on each end. The only difference between this and other barbells is the color. Regular colors are metallic, but this barbell has a beautiful coating of matte black. This is a discreet but modern color.

Very beautiful as a septum piercing
This piece of jewelry is really beautiful and simple for a septum piercing. Among my 4 pieces of jewelry, this one has been the easiest to put in, and it's also my favorite. You just have to get used to the fact that the beads are quite large, but I think it's super pretty. The beads also sit closer together than on my other horseshoe piercings. Even though it's a horseshoe, I can't hide the jewelry by bending it up into my nose because it's too big and the beads are too close together, so that's something to be aware of.
