An internally threaded labret is preferable to jewelry with an external thread. The reason is that an internal thread is inside the post itself, so it doesn’t damage your piercing when pinning the jewelry in. An external thread may work sharply, hurting your piercing holes and the skin around it.
This model features a small triangular top. You can get this labret in the color of your choice from any of the available options you see in the picture above. You can also choose the length, depending on where the jewelry is going to be pinned in. If, for example, you got your tragus piercing done with a 16 gauge (1.2 mm) needle, a length of 1/4" (6 mm) will most likely be a good fit. The jewelry can also be used in the helix, where most people go for a labret of 5/32" (4 mm) in length. But, naturally, it depends on your anatomy and the location of your piercing. In general, as long as the bar gauge matches that of your piercing hole, there are no limits to where you can use this versatile labret.
