All these barbells are made of Teflon or PTFE, a very soft and comfortable material for your tongue piercing. The balls are made of acrylic, a material that will protect your teeth and gums from impacts. Both Teflon and acrylic are 100% nickel-free, so you shouldn't worry; this is a totally safe item.
Get all these 8 tongue barbells you can see in the picture. Even if they have a length of 5/8" (16 mm), you can cut them as you like. Cutting the barbell is very easy; you only need scissors and a metallic piercing ball in the same gauge size as the barbell.

Super comfortable.
These tongue piercings are really comfortable to have in your mouth. And they are also more gentle on the teeth if you happen to bite down on them. I actually think this pack is just perfect for a bunch of new tongue piercings - it’s not too expensive, there is a wealth of colors to choose from.. and again - they are comfortable to wear and gentle on the teeth, and if you are new to having a tongue piercing, you often end up biting it or hitting it against your teeth. So I would definitely recommend this specific piercing pack to others. Also because it has very nice colors and a good selection of colors that you can match with just about anything. I have recommended this site and this piercing pack with tongue piercings to many of my friends :)

It was wonderful to get them, and to have some different colors, as I, like many others, think it's great to have various colors to choose from :) The quality is superb and they are nice and gentle on the teeth and gums, both above and below. + they don't hurt too much if you accidentally chew on them, especially if you haven't quite gotten used to your piercing yet.

Lovely material
I want to make a comment about these piercings. I was pleasantly surprised by the material, which is wonderfully soft and therefore gentle on the teeth. The bar itself is so soft that it can be bent.
