Beyond Boundaries: The Art and Experience of Isabella Piercings

The Isabella piercing is located in the female genital area. It goes from the top of the clitoris hood to the space between the clitoris and the urethra.

It is sometimes confused with the Christina piercing, but that one is placed on the mount pubis.

Are there any risks associated with an Isabella piercing?

The clitoris is a highly sensitive part of the female body because there are a large number of nerves running through it. You could damage some of these nerves or hit the dorsal nerve if you do not go to a professional piercer.

Even professional piercers with long demonstrated experience might not want to perform an Isabella piercing, due to the risks associated with it.

If you want an intimate piercing, it’s recommended you get a Christina piercing as it is not as painful as an Isabella and the chances of damaging your nerves are much lower.
