The jewelry you see here is made of titanium. Titanium does not contain nickel, and can therefore be used by nickel allergy sufferers as well as for initial piercings. You won't have to wait for your piercing to heal before you can use a beautiful piece of jewelry.

At the same time, the jewelry is equipped with internal threads -- one at each end of the barbell. This prevents small tears inside your piercing when you insert the jewelry. Since you can unscrew both the front and the locking ball, you can replace the ball with a smaller one if you think the 5/32" (4 mm) ball is too big for you. You can also take out the front and put it on another barbell. The only thing you need to make sure of is that the threads fit together.

The front of the jewelry consists of a cluster of small opal stones. These are not real opals, but imitations. The opals have different sizes but they sit symmetrically with a large stone at the top, a smaller one at the bottom, and two identical ones at the sides.
