Silicone cover plate

If you thought you knew everything about piercing jewelry and accessories, this accessory may surprise you. 

This product is so simple that it seems untrue that it didn't exist before. It's a protective cover plate that can be used in mouth piercings, such as tongue or lip piercings. It consists of a pure medical silicone disc and has the same quality as the one used in hospitals. Therefore, it can be sterilized by autoclave. 

The plate has a diameter of approximately 9/32" (7 mm) and can be used for barbells of 18 to 12 gauge (1 to 2 mm). So it's perfect for most jewelry, such as 16 gauge (1.2 mm) labrets or 14 gauge (1.6 mm) tongue rings. Keep it in mind that the plate has a thickness of approximately 1/32" (0.9 mm).

Why use this protective disc? It's mostly used for labrets and tongue piercings. If you feel that you may need protection for your piercings, you can use it for some time until your piercing is healed. And then you can use it again whenever you want.

Since the disc is wider than your jewel's balls and bigger than the flat surface of labrets, you can make sure that all irritations or bumps will be healed.
