Septum ring with plaited semicircle

The septal cartilages have been widely decorated in many tribal cultures around the world. However, in ancient times, Aboriginal people walked with a bone in their nose instead of a ring, as we do. Some tribes also used septum piercings because they thought that, this way, they would prevent their soul from escaping through the nose. So, if you are superstitious and you are afraid of your soul escaping through your nose, this septum ring is perfect for you!
This piece, as you can see in the above image, is a seamless septum ring that is plaited in the bottom semicircle. It is made of a single piece of metal, which means that you have to twist the ends in opposite directions to insert it into your nose; do not worry about the closing mechanism.
The piece is made of brass and has been plated to give it a different color. This allows applying the ring a silver or gold color; you can see the three different options in the picture above.
