Being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to get rid of your belly button ring. However, you should replace your regular jewelry with rings that are specially designed for pregnancy. 
Pregnancy belly rings are what you see in the picture above. It’s distinguished from regular jewelry because it has a longer barbell and, besides, it's flexible. It’s therefore adaptable and will follow the development of your baby bump.
This belly button ring consists of a barbell that is approx. 1-3/8" (35 mm) long and made of PTFE, a hypoallergenic and flexible material. The top ball is of a regular kind, and the bottom features a gem that you can have in the color of your choice.
A PTFE barbell can be cut to any desired length directly with scissors. Be careful not to cut it too much - Rather too long than too short :)
