Belly button ring with crescent and stars
In the picture above, you can see one of the most mysterious belly button rings. The dangle features meanings and symbols from different faiths around the world. There is a crescent moon dangle with some stars. For example, a crescent moon means growth and creativity in the Celtic belief. The moon and the bottom ball have been decorated with mother of pearl or nacre, which has a calming effect on the person carrying it. Mother of pearl is a natural material found in the inner layer of a pearl mussel, often used in the making of jewelry.
The curved barbell is made of surgical steel, and the dangle is made of brass. The dangle and the top and bottom balls are coated with either silver, gold, or rose gold, depending on the model you choose. The stars, held in the crescent dangle, are studded with tiny clear stones to give the impression of sparkling stars.
