You can get the stud in your choice of black, gold, or rose gold color with a white opal stone; or in silver with one of four different opal colors: green, blue, lilac, or white. The opal stone is set on the top without any prong or coating layer.
The bar is almost 1/4" (6 mm) long and has a wider end, which ensures that the stud doesn't slip out of the piercing. The end is only a little thicker than the bar, which has a gauge of 20g (0.8 mm). So you shouldn't worry, because sliding it into your nose piercing won't hurt.
