All About Intimate Piercings
A Hafada piercing is a male intimate piercing that hardly hurts to get done.
The piercing goes through the scrotum, a very loose and flexible area that isn’t very sensitive, so there is no huge amount of pain to worry about.
Most people choose to have it done just under the shaft of the penis, where the scrotum starts.
It is said that the royal Egyptians had a double Hafada, meaning two piercings on either side of the penis.
When a Hafada piercing is placed just below the shaft of the penis, it is very similar to a Lorum piercing. In fact, some people combine one or more Lorum piercings with one or more Hafada piercings. However, this requires quite some expertise and is not for inexperienced piercers.
The vast majority choose to wear a ring in their Hafada piercing. This is mostly because the ring is easy to clean, but you can also use a horseshoe or curved barbell.
Besides, as this area is very flexible, it’s not difficult to stretch it to use large piercing jewelry. It is one of the easiest places when it comes to stretching intimate piercings.
Since a Hafada piercing does not go through the most titillating genitals, this piercing does not increase sexual pleasure. So it's a piercing you get done purely for looks - which is enough of a reason.
Until the piercing has healed, you should take a few precautions to have sex safely:
With good hygiene, you should be able to get on with your sexual life without too much trouble.
This piercing needs to be cared for like almost any other intimate piercing. Try to make sure that the area is always as dry and clean as possible. The piercing can quickly become infected, as it’s located in a hot and humid area of the body.
