All these barbells are made of Teflon or PTFE, a very soft and comfortable material for your tongue piercing. The balls are made of acrylic, a material that will protect your teeth and gums from impacts. Both Teflon and acrylic are 100% nickel-free, so you shouldn't worry; this is a totally safe item.
Get all these 8 tongue barbells you can see in the picture. Even if they have a length of 5/8" (16 mm), you can cut them as you like. Cutting the barbell is very easy; you only need scissors and a metallic piercing ball in the same gauge size as the barbell.

Silly!
The best purchase I've made is that I recently (about 1 month ago) got a tongue piercing. It's delightfully soft in the mouth, the green/yellow lights up a bit in blue light (I have LED lights with many colors), seems to shine brightest in blue light, so it's really fun! I recommend these piercings :)

I found that the poles could be spiky, but if used with a metal pole, they are wonderful! Gentle on the teeth :)

Very comfortable needles. Better for teeth and gums than metal needles. In my opinion, a very good needle set, they look nice and the length is good too. I recommend them to others.

Super comfortable.
These tongue piercings are really comfortable to have in your mouth. And they are also gentler on the teeth if you happen to bite down on them. I actually think this package is perfect for a group with new tongue piercings - it’s not too expensive, there’s a wealth of colors to choose from... and again - they’re comfortable to wear and gentle on the teeth, and if you’re new to a tongue piercing, you might often end up biting it or clashing it against your teeth. So I would definitely recommend this piercing package to others. Also because they are very pleasant colors, and there’s a good selection of colors that you can match with just about anything. I’ve recommended this site and this tongue piercing package to many of those I know :)
