Tragus

Tragus jewelry is one of those subtle, yet very edgy piercings. It is located in the tragus of the ear, the area right in front of the conch. The most usual tragus piercing jewelry designs worn in this area are tiny rings or shorter labrets with a small design at the head of the jewelry. Because of the location of this piercing, the options are a bit limited when it comes to choosing the perfect piece. But worry not, we’ve got you covered. From tiny labrets to smaller sized tragus earrings, you will find your desired piece on our website. Check out these pieces:

Healing time, pain & changing the jewelry

This is a cartilage piercing, which means that getting it pierced is a bit more painful. However, the pain is very short-lived, totally bearable. The healing time is 2-3 months. However, this can vary from person to person, even taking up to a whole year.

Make sure to carry out a proper aftercare regimen, and wait for the piercing to heal fully before changing the design. After six months, you should be able to replace the starter jewelry with your desired style. Keep in mind that this is not an easily reachable placement, so changing it might be harder than you think. If you have the chance, ask your professional piercer to help you the first time and show you how to do it the right way. Your first jewelry will most likely be a simple titanium labret. When removing it, you might need to use forceps to secure the bar while screwing the head off. When the head is removed, you can take out the bar and insert your new, sterilized piercing.
