This barbell is thicker than usual, that's why it's perfect for stretched intimate piercings. The main advantage of acrylic jewelry is that they are particularly light.
A large metal barbell usually weighs about 0.7 Oz. (20 gr), while one made of acrylic weighs about 0.1 Oz. (3 gr).
Depending on where your piercing is, it is more recommendable to wear light acrylic jewelry.
This barbell is available from 10 gauge (2.4 mm) to 00 gauge (10 mm).
